Featured CCHC Provider
Dr. Earl Fredrick, Jr.
The Illinois Primary Health Care Association awarded our physician, Dr. Earl Fredrick the Primary Health Care Clinician Devotion Award at the 27th Annual Leadership Conference Annual Awards of Excellence program.
This
award recognizes a special individual who faces the challenge of caring for
the many in need, while assuring
that each individual is treated with respect and provided excellent care every day in an effort to reduce the barriers that exist to health care in his community.
Dr. Earl Fredrick, Jr. has served underprivileged patients
in the Chicagoland area for over 50 years. He is a wellrespected,
dedicated, articulate and responsible internist and
hematologist.
Dr. Fredrick deeply cares for his patients, especially since the recent outpouring of new patients without health insurance. He has made himself available to his patients and others who require immediate care. He is our hospitalist, on call 24 hours a day/seven days a week and averaging approximately 60 inpatient visits per month. Dr. Fredrick regularly gives presentations on prostate cancer awareness for men in the community.
At the distinguished age of 79, Dr. Fredrick sets an example by maintaining a regular exercise regimen and healthy diet. He is known
for his immediate and accurate diagnoses, and his frank and concise
bedside manner.
Dr. Earl Fredrick, Jr. is a member of the American Medical
Association, Illinois State Medical Society, Chicago Medical Society,
Cook County Physicians Association, National Medical Association,
Chicago Foundation for Medical Care, South Suburban Society of
Internal Medicine, Crescent County Foundation for Medical Care
and the American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal
Medicine.
